Due to the extreme issues getting commodities to and from the elevators affecting train schedules, contracts etc. coupled with the wild swings in temperatures, a compromise solution was put in place. When overnight temperatures are down into the twenty’s or below, Dickey County will temporarily lift load limits on DICKEY COUNTY roads until noon to allow movement of commodities to and from the elevators. You must check with your local TWPs for use of their roads before hauling. Should the roads soften before noon, please cease operations to protect the roads.
