The Valley City Barnes County Public Library will host the second annual “Libraries are Sweet and Books are My Jam” Market Day Event in the multi-purpose room at the library. The event will feature homemade jams, jellies, sweet treats, and more that will be sold to raise funds for a special project at the library. At 1:30 pm, we will hold a dedication service for the new plaque that honors the organizations and people that gave generously to the “Light Up the Library” fundraiser which funded the restoration of the dome and the installation of a new roof for the library. After the dedication, listen to mini concerts by Joe DeMasi and the Valley City Community Band Brass Ensemble.
