Sheyenne Riverfest will take place August 5th in Valley City, with a preview ride of the scenic byway August 4th, starting from the Rosebud Visitors Center at 5:30 PM.

On Saturday, August 5th, the event begins with dropoff at the National Fish Hatchery, starting at 8:30 AM.  A shuttle will run from Chautauqua Park to the hatchery from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.  Launch takes place at 10:00 AM at the hatchery.  A craft and vendor show will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM at the park.  Fort Ransom State Park will have kids day to celebrate the event as well, starting at 10 AM.

A raffle drawing will take place at 1 PM at the park in Valley City.  Tickets are available at several locations in Valley City.
