A group of people in Valley City expressed interest in taking actions to defend democracy against an authoritarian agenda. Valley City’s “Stand Up for Democracy and Civil Rights” event will be held Thursday from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM at the corner of Central Ave. & Main Street. The planned demonstration will also honoring the late Congressman and Civil Rights Champion John Lewis who passed away.
