Valley City Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said someone is calling area residents asking them to donate to the fire fighter association. Magnuson said the Valley City Fire Department is NOT soliciting money and would never call on the phone. Magnuson isn’t sure if it’s a scam or not, but the call has nothing to do with the Valley City Fire Department.
