Our beloved Lori Baron, 62, of Wayzata, MN, left us too soon the morning of Wednesday, May 14, 2025. She was a bright light in the world and her absence is deeply felt by the many hearts she touched. Born Lori Ilene Snyder on Sept. 10, 1962, in Pierre, SD and raised in Valley City, ND. She graduated from Valley City High School and went on to study at NDSU. She moved to the Twin Cities where she met and married her devoted and loving husband of 30 years, Bill Baron. Together they had many wonderful adventures including raising their son, Alex Baron, who was the light of her life.

Lori loved her Catholic Faith and was an active member of the Basilica of St Mary. She shared her positivity and many talents through a tireless commitment to a variety of projects including the Basilica Landmark, the Jeremiah Program, and RAINN among others. She was also a proud member of The Minneapolis Women’s Club and the Wayzata Garden Club. In addition to her devotion to family, friends and community she successfully owned and operated two businesses, Custom Design Studio and Le Glitz, where she brought practical beauty to the lives of those she served. Lori was a natural mentor and connector, often making introductions and building relationships between friends and colleagues.

Possessing a true servants heart Lori used love as a verb, she consistently showed up for her friends and family with thoughtfulness and generosity. She was considered a second mother to many including nieces, nephews and friends. Lori was the best Yaya to her two granddaughters, Blake and Peyton, and they brought her the greatest joy.
Lori exuded positive energy, winning the hearts of many that were blessed by her encouragement and nurturing love. We cannot know the numbers of people she has touched but her infectious smile and loving, encouraging spirit will never be forgotten.

Lori is survived by her husband Bill Baron; son Alex Baron (Hayley); two granddaughters Blake and Peyton. Her mother, Darlene Snyder; siblings, Tammy (Ron) Haase, Dirinda (Don) Jewett, Sheldon (DeAnne) Snyder, Tena (Anthony) Zucker, Leland Snyder.
Preceded in death by brother, Timothy Snyder; parents-in-law, Henry and Kathleen Baron.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday May 21st, 3:00pm at The Basilica of St. Mary, Hennepin Avenue at 17th Street, Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior to mass at church. Memorials preferred to the Basilica Landmark Fund www.thebasilicalandmark.org.
