Barnes County Soil Conservation District is looking for seasonal employees (May 1, 2022-Mid July 2022) for tree planting positions. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, enjoy working outdoors and be able to work cohesively with the other 3 members of our tree crew.
Applicants will be planting trees and installing weed barrier throughout Barnes County. Tree planting will be Monday-Friday (weather permitting), no Saturdays. Work hours are generally 8-5 but are extremely flexible to accommodate everyone’s schedules. Starting wage is $16.00 an hour.
The open positions are part of a rewarding work environment for individuals who want to work outdoors during summer days and have an opportunity to help Barnes Co. SCD with conservation practices.
