(NewsDakota.com)- The final home game of the 2011-12 season for the Blue Jay basketball teams will take place tonight at Jerry Meyer Arena. The Jays will host Bismarck Century tonight.

The Jays schedule concluded with four of their final five games on the road. They will finish the season at Bismarck High (Friday) and at Bismarck St. Mary’s (2/21).

The boys have struggled as of late losing five of their last six following an eight-game winning streak that spanned the middle of the season.

Currently Jamestown is sixth in the WDA. They beat Bismarck Century on the road the first time they met 66-58.

The girls are winners of three of their last four and will battle the state’s No. 1 team tonight.

The Patriot girls sit atop the rankings and the WDA with a 15-1 (13-0) record. Their only loss coming to Edina (MN) who is the No. 3 team in Minnesota’s largest class.

Jamestown lost to the Patriots 72-54 in the first meeting. The Jays made a run in the second-half but just ran out of gas down the stretch.

The games will tip-off tonight at 5:45 with the girls taking the floor first. You can listen to all the action on KQDJ-AM 1400.
