N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public Works Committee discussed opening cell 4A at the Municipal Solid Waste Landfill last week.

The $4.5 million dollar project is expected to have over 100 years of life expectancy. Darrel Hournbuckle with Interstate Engineering has more.

The project would close the current cell in Mid-2017 or 2018. About $450,000 in engineering services are expected. The committee approved the project unanimously.
