N.D- The newest season of Oakes High School wrestling started off quite well last night, as the Tornadoes went north to Carrington, and took down the mighty Cardinals in their first match 36-24.

For Oakes, the winners were at 120 pounds Erik Loeep in an 8-1 decision, at 126 pounds Caden Coleman in a 7-4 decision, at 145 pounds Cody Voegeli with a pin at 3:25, at 160 pounds Cole Erlin with an 8-2 decision, at 170 pounds Trent Ptacek with a pin at 1:15, and at 195 pounds Ben Ketterling with a pin at 1:55.
