N.D. – Authorities say a 50-year-old Buffalo man was found dead underneath his vehicle on a Cass County road north of Buffalo on Tuesday morning about 4am.

Highway Patrol Lt. Aaron Hummel says no foul play is suspected in the death of Michael Vavra. He says a preliminary investigation shows Vavra failed to take his 1993 Ford Thunderbird out of gear before leaving the vehicle and it struck him.

Hummel says the crash happened on a Cass County road 7 miles north of Buffalo and 1/3 a mile west early Tuesday morning.
