– Stutsman County authorities are investigating a rash of burglaries this weekend in the small North Dakota towns of Medina and Woodworth.

Burglars attempted to break into about half a dozen businesses sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning. They were successful in some instances, and generally took cash that was on hand.

Anyone with information should call the Stutsman County Sheriff’s office at 252-9000.

Medina has a population of about 300 people and is located about 30 miles west of Jamestown. Woodworth is about 18 miles north of Medina and has a population of about 50 people.
