N.D. (AP) – Fans are lining up to buy North Dakota State
championship gear after the Bison beat Sam Houston State this
weekend. The line at a Scheels store in Fargo stretched out the
door yesterday, a day after the 17-6 win gave the school the NCAA
Football Championship Subdivision national title.
     
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota’s Public Service Commission
will hold a hearing tomorrow on a proposal to build an 88-megawatt
natural gas turbine north of Mandan. Many state utilities rely on
coal to generate electricity, but Montana-Dakota Utilities Company
wants to use the cleaner fuel.

Research Forum begins Wednesday in Fargo. The two-day event brings
together public and private researchers, farmers and industry
