(NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County North basketball teams picked up a District 5 sweep against Ellendale on Friday night at North Central School.

Jacoby Kramlich scored 18 points to lead three Bison in double figures as BCN’s boys earned a 62-53 victory. Cody Christ added 14 points and Austin Jorissen chipped in 13.

Adam White scored 25 for Ellendale in the loss. The Bison led 31-29 at halftime, but pulled away by out-scoring Ellendale 17-8 in the third quarter.

In the girls contest, SaraLi Petersen and Sydney Reimers each scored eight points to lead the Bison over Ellendale in a low-scoring 35-34 contest.

Lauren McMillan added seven points for the Bison. Madi Bommersbach led Ellendale with nine points.
