N.D. (AP) – Record high temperatures were recorded
this weekend across the Dakotas as the mercury soared in to the 70s
in some spots. The National Weather Service says Bismarck,
Dickinson, Williston, Minot, Jamestown, Fargo and Grand Forks
either set or tied record-high temperatures.
     
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A Minnesota man is in federal custody after
authorities say he made threats against the federal courthouse in
Fargo and the city’s police department. Forty-three-year-old Brian
Jacobson is set to appear in court today.
     
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – An assistant professor at North Dakota State
is taking students to Transylvania for two weeks this summer,
hoping to teach them about Romanian history and culture. Florin
Salajan  says he hopes to teach students that
there’s more to the region than the legend of the vampire Dracula.
     
FARGO, N.D. (AP) -North Dakota and North Dakota State men’s
basketball teams may be not playing in the NCAA tournament, but
their seasons aren’t over yet. NDSU will face Wyoming on Wednesday
in the opening round of the College Basketball Invitational.
Meanwhile, UND will face Drake on Wednesday in the first round of
the CollegeInsider.Com Tournament.
