(NewsDakota.com)- The Blue Jay boy’s golf team struggled in their season opener yesterday in Minot. They finished 7th with a team score of 341.

Eight-grader Austin Rene and 10th grader Brandon Stahlhut finished with 84s. Those were the best finishes for Jamestown and neither placed inside the top-10.

The Blue Jays will hit the links again on Friday in Dickinson at Heart River Golf Course. The course is also the site of the West Region and state tournaments.
