2012 Jamestown Area Youth Fastpitch Softball Instructional League will take to the fields from May 19th to July 27th. The league is open to girls that are starting 3rd through 9th grades during the upcoming school year.
There will be four divisions of play:
Outlaws – 10U Gunslingers-14U Pistols – 12U Bandits – 16U
10U & 12U will use a pitching machine. At the Outlaw level, if a player does not make contact in 3 swings of the machine pitched ball, they will hit a ball off a tee to put it in play (by the end of the program, players will have gained much improvement in hitting the machine pitched ball). The intent of the Jamestown Area Youth Fastpitch Softball Instructional League is to stress fundamentals, proper techniques and enjoyment all for the development of future girls fastpitch players.
