CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Another impressive showing was turned in by the Hi-Liner golf team Monday at the Fargo Country Club.

Valley City finished fourth, firing a team 328, at the full Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) meet.  It was the second-straight top four finish among EDC teams for the Hi-Liners, who finished behind three EDC and two Western Dakota Association (WDA) teams at the East-West Crossover at Wahpeton last weekend.

Nick Jenson (above) tied for seventh individually with a 79.  Jared Lentz was 10th overall with an 81.  Ben Sorenson turned in an 82, and Marcus Beedle scored with an 86.

West Fargo won the event with a 314, two ahead of Fargo Shanely and four ahead of Grand Forks Red River.  The Hi-Liners were four better than Fargo Davies and seven ahead of Fargo South.

Valley City continues it’s season Monday at Bois de Sioux in Wahpeton.
