(NewsDakota.com) Crews are scheduled to arrive in Oakes on Wednesday morning to continue summer road work by starting the process of seal coating the roads.

All roads that have had work done in the last two years will need to have coating placed down. Most of the work is scheduled to be complete during daylight hours, however Main Avenue will be worked on Wednesday night between 7 and 9 p.m.

In addition to the work along Main Avenue, parts of Fir Avenue, Lilac Avenue, 3rd Street, 4th Street, 5th Street North, 6th Street, 8th Street, 9th Street and South 11th street will also see crews laying down coating.

Any vehicles parked on these roads during the process must be moved, according to a City of Oakes press release.
