N.D. (AP) – A package containing a pound of marijuana didn’t reach its intended recipient but was instead delivered to a Dickinson high school. Police say they’re trying to figure out who mailed the package and track it back to its sender.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – Locked-out American Crystal Sugar Company workers are planning to travel 200 miles by foot and hay wagon to draw attention to their contact dispute. The caravan is leaving today from the northeastern North Dakota city of Drayton and is expected to arrive at the company’s headquarters in Minnesota on June 6th.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A Belcourt man with felony convictions for embezzlement and assault has been given an auction license by North Dakota regulators. State officials say Douglas Delorme deserves another chance. He has felony convictions for embezzlement and witness tampering when he was on the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa tribal council in 2002.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – State fisheries biologists in the Dakotas are working together to stock Lake Oahe with hundreds of adult gizzard shad. The shad are a food for game fish. Last summer’s historic Missouri River flooding flushed a large number of young rainbow smelt through the Oahe Dam, drastically reducing the amount of food that game fish such as walleye had to eat.
