CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Chamber Ambassadors honored Lila Bemis of Valley City with a Customer Service Award on Wednesday.
Lila is the weekend and holiday Rosebud Visitor’s Center docent. She is faithfully there all day EVERY Saturday & Sunday, greeting people from all over the world that stop by Valley City, and has done so for several years.
She’s truly a remarkable lady in her 90’s remaining active and playing a vital role as a friendly face for the community at the Rosebud Visitors Center in Valley City.
Bemis said its been a rewarding job and experience for her. She says with a smile that she also enjoys tell people were to go to see the hot spots in the community and in the Sheyenne River Valley Scenic Byway.
