CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley Realty will be developing 17 residential lots in the new Hillside Addition in northwest Valley City.

Vice President Jim Knutson says they plan to start the underground work soon. The commission unanimously approved of the plan on Monday.

A Valley City commissioner asked if there was any chance a nearby hill slide near 9th avenue northwest would affect the new addition. KLJ Engineer Eric Gilbertson says the new addition is going to be built on stable ground. In the spring of 2011 a small portion of a hill near 9th avenue northwest suffered erosion.
