(NewsDakota.com) The start of the 2012 volleyball season did not go the way Oakes High School wanted to go at all.

The Kindred Vikings came into Oakes on Saturday, and took down the Tornadoes in three games by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-7.

Oakes now needs to regroup as they have two games scheduled for this week. The first is Tuesday evening on the road against Richland County, while the second features a home contest against District 1 rival Hankinson set for Thursday night.

KDDR 1220 AM/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com will have coverage of Thursday night’s game.
