CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner freshman football team defeated the Maple Valley-Enderlin Falcons junior varsity 32-26 in Buffalo Monday afternoon.

The Hi-Liners scored five rushing touchdowns in the game, with John Halgrimson running in scores from 52 and 45 yards.  Lucas Jury scored the first of the day with a 65-yard scamper.  Erik Milender added a 55-yard scoring run, and Kory Johnson ran in a score from 52 yards.

Defensively, Jared Lentz had two interceptions and Noah Kvilvang had three quarterback sacks.  Valley City recorded seven sacks overall.

The Hi-Liner freshman host Lisbon in their next action, scheduled for September 6th.
