CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Valley City Hi-Liners and Carrington Cardinals will open non-tournament volleyball play tonight in Valley City.

The Hi-Liners opened with a 1-5 performance at the East-West Crossover last weekend, earning a win over Turtle Mountain (Belcourt).

Carrington won the title at the Lakota Tournament last weekend, knocking off last year’s state qualifier, Midkota, in the championship match.

Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.  Pregame coverage will begin at 6:35 p.m. on KOVC and KDAK.
