(NewsDakota.com)  The Carrington Cardinals took on the Rebels of Pingree/Buchanan for their last regular season match of the year.  The Cards won 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-21).  Carrington improves to 25-6 overall, District 5 Pingree/Buchanan drops to 15-16 overall.

Carrington served 86% for the night with 13 aces, Madison Wendel had five aces.  Leading the way with kills was Kayla Hochhalter with a match high 12, followed by Jacey Engelhorn with 10.

Next up for Carrington will be the District 7 Tourney in New Rockford starting this Thursday, October 31st.  The No. 2 seed Cards will play on Friday night against the winner of Harvey/Wells County VS Benson County.  A complete schedule of the District 7 Tourney was posted yesterday right here on newsdakota.com.  All games will be broadcast on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com.
