(NewsDakota.com)- The Jimmie men’s basketball team has the look of team that has turned around a disappointing first-half as they head into the new year. Jamestown has won their last three and will finish off their home-stand tomorrow against Mayville St. Brequan Tucker has been a big part of the January run.

Tucker’s 27 points paced the Jimmies on Sunday against Ashford, including a quartet of three-pointers. He averaged 25 points per contest in the two Jimmies wins last week and was named the NSAA player of the week, becoming the first Jimmie to win the award.

Tucker scored 50 points and made 13 of 28 attempts. He also was stellar from the free throw line knocking down 19 of 20 shots.

Jamestown will kick off NSAA play Wednesday with a visit from the Comets. It is Family Fun Night sponsored by the Jimmies booster club so make sure to bring your families. Game times are 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
