N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown’s Salvation Army will begin their Coats for Kids distribution in the community starting today.

Over 200 children’s coats have been donated to the Salvation Army. Wal-Mart has given the Salvation Army a grant for $300 and with that, they have purchased another 8 or 10 coats. Other area businesses that have helped donate coats include Ave Maria Village and Blue Star Dry Cleaning and Beyond.

There is a need for winter boots however. The Salvation Army is looking for children’s winter boots. If you would like to donate, drop off your items at the Salvation Army office.
