(NewsDakota.com) – Ever since appearing in the NAIA Top-25 poll for the first-time in program history a few weeks ago, the Jimmie volleyball hasn’t given up their spot. They are now the No. 20 team in the country in a tie with Oklahoma Baptist.
Jamestown has a record of 15-4 and has cruised through the North Star Athletic Association season. Currently, they have a three-game lead for the top-spot in next months NSAA tournament.
This weekend, however, the No. 20 Jimmies will be tested when they head to Des Moines, Iowa. Three-ranked teams await beginning Friday.
The opponents will include No. 18 Grand View (IA), No. 7 Viterbo (WI), and No. 15 Evangel (MO). The Jimmies also play a fourth team that isn’t ranked, Baker (KS).
