ND – Some Million dollars to help build dikes for permanent flood protection near the campus of Valley City State University is slow making its way to Governor Dalrymple’s desk for his signature.

Spokesman Jeff Zent says if no amendments were made to SB 2023 in the final conference committee it could be headed to the Governor’s office for his signature.

Zent says the $3 million in funding for the Valley City project will come from the state’s  disaster fund instead of the general fund.
