BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fifteen pilots were recently awarded for participating in the “Fly North Dakota Airports” Passport Program and several are from the area.

The passport program awards pilots for flying to multiple airports in the state and attending FAA Safety Seminars. They also visit the two North Dakota air museums in the state. the awards are sponsored by the North Dakota Department of Commerce’s Toursim Division along with the state Aeronautics Commission, Airport Association and North Dakota Pilots Association.

Four of the pilots were presented with either bronze and silver awards for visiting a specific number of airports in the state. The gold award was given to eleven pilots and is achieved by visiting all 89 public use airports and completing the other requirements. The following is a list of those eleven individuals:
