JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On June 2nd, eight bike clubs will again come together to raise money for North Dakota non-profit organizations.

The CMA Dakota Sonshine Riders of Jamestown, Crusaders of Jamestown, Dakota Riders of Valley City, Jamestown HOG Chapter, Individuals of Jamestown, Lunacy of Devils Lake, Spirit Lake Riders of Devils Lake, and the Prairie Riders MC Berlin and Walum all had a meeting about a month ago sharing one common goal: to do what they love, to help someone in need.

This is the second year of Bikers for a Cause Benefit Run. Last year a total of 209 pepole were registered and a
total of $5,000 was raised. $1,000 was donated to the DAV Regan McLean Chapter #5, Teen City, Great Plains Foodbank, Jamestown Safe Shelter, ND Veteran’s Home in Lisbon. One hundred percent of the profits made from the “Bikers for a Cause Benefit Run” will go to non-profit organizations chosen by the clubs involved again this year.

One route consisting of about 180 miles total has been constructed by the Jamestown HOG Chapter for this year’s benefit run. The route consists of six stops before returning to the dealership in Jamestown. Registration will begin at Stutsman Harley-Davidson at 9 am with a shotgun start at noon, returning to the store for food and live music by Jay Richochet around 6 pm.

“After a huge success last year we cannot wait to put on this benefit run again and hopefully make an impact on some more people’s lives” said John Seifert, General Manager of Stutsman Harley-Davidson.
