FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liner track and field participated in the EDC Track and Field Meet at FargoSouth on Friday and two more relay teams qualified for state.
The boys 4×100-Meter relay team qualified for state and placed 4th at the meet. Team members are Evan Meilke, Austin Shape, Cade Powers and Jaden Compson. The girls 4×200-Meter relay team qualifies for state. Team members are Olivia Olson, Karina Olson, VeVe Lee and Jocey Kriewald. The same four qualified in the 4×100 earlier this spring. The girls 4×800 – Meter Relay team also qualified for state Friday with a 6th place finish. Team members are Sydnee Ingstad, Lexi Triebold, Reagan Berg and Avery Murray. Murray had already qualified for State in the 1600-Meter run.
Jared Eggermont and Allyson Mathias had already qualified for state. Jared in 110 and 300 Hurdles and Mathias inthe javelin.
The State Track and Field Championships will be on May 24th and 25th at the MDU Community Bowl in Bismarck.
