JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Buffalo Museum is asking for individuals to take a quick survey to help them in their growth.

“The leadership of the National Buffalo Museum is undertaking strategic planning, and to better inform that process, a community survey was deployed to discern some upcoming focus areas and goals,” Megan Laudenschlager with StrengthenND states.

“We are hopeful that this survey will unlock some findings that can support the National Buffalo Museum to grow its impact.”

Museum Executive Director Ilana Xinos says the museum is about serving the community and this is a way for them to get involved with their mission.

“We really want to know how we can better serve our local community as we work to achieve or mission of educating the public about the American bison. We would love to see our local membership grow and we need their feedback to do so.”

Jamestown Tourism Executive Director Searle Swedlund says the museum has seen extraordinary growth for the past three years. He says the survey will allow them to continue that growth.

“The information will shape how their destination can increase visitor traffic through developing original ideas to tell the story of the National Mammal,” Swedlund pointed out.
