JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – First day of school in the Jamestown Public School District has been set for August 22nd.

Elementary grades 1-5 begin at 8:30 AM, grades 6-8 begin at 8:20 AM, and grades 9-12 start at 7:50 AM. Kindergarten students will be assessed on August 22nd & 23rd with a schedule being sent to parents. First day for kindergarten will be August 26th.

Dismissal time at the High School is 3:15 PM, the Middle School at 3:20 PM, and the elementary schools will be dismissed at 3 PM.

“It is requested that the parents who have children who will be attending kindergarten, transport their children the first two days of school so that necessary arrangements can be made for the students requesting transportation service,” the school district states.

Middle and High School students schedule pickups are scheduled August 14th and 15th at each school.
