VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Jail Committee will hold their a kickoff meeting on the construction of a new jail and law enforcement center in Valley City Monday, August 19 at 5:30pm.
The architectural firm of Klein McCarthy will give a rundown on the consultants selected, scope of the project, budget goals and funding, jail tour findings, the site, size of the jail, law enforcement center, dispatch and emergency operations center, exterior design and the construction schedule of the project. The meeting will be held Monday, August 19 at 5:30pm in the Barnes County Commission Chamber. The public is welcome to attend.
