Both Stanley and Wynn are familiar faces to patients. They have both traveled the past several years to Carrington through a locum agency to fill weekend provider needs for the Emergency Room and Saturday Urgent Care Clinic.

As employees of CHI St. Alexius Health Carrington, Stanley and Wynn will provide the majority of weekend provider coverage throughout the year. Stanley will also see walk-in clinic patients Friday afternoons and Monday mornings. Weekday Emergency Room coverage and occasional weekend coverage will continue to be provided by Mary Hoff, PA-C, Brad Hoff, PA-C, Jacqui Nelson, PA-C, and Chelsey Zeltinger, DNP, FNP-C.

Stanley lives in Georgetown, Indiana, with his wife and three young children. He has experience in a variety of emergency room sizes and has taught students about the study of medical disease and injury to the human body at the university level. Stanley began his career with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and advanced to graduate with a Doctor of Nursing Practice.

“I have been coming to Carrington for four years,” comments Stanley, “and have been welcomed with open arms. I have met many new friends and developed long lasting relationships with people I now consider lifelong friends. I am excited to continue providing exceptional care in Carrington. I believe a person will never work a day in their life if they love what they do, and I love helping those within Carrington and surrounding communities!”

Wynn and his wife live in Princeton, West Virginia. They have five grown children and 3 grandchildren. He began his career in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and EMT. Wynn then advanced through several degrees and certifications until graduating with his Doctor of Nursing Practice. Wynn’s main interest is in emergency medicine, and he is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in a Nurse Practitioner program.

“After being a locum in Carrington the past few years, I was delighted when given the opportunity to join their great providers on medical staff,” states Wynn. “I look forward to helping take care of the emergency needs of patients, as well as those in the hospital and clinic. A constant thing I tell my friends about Carrington is how nice and welcoming the staff and community are. I also enjoy learning about the different kinds of farming in the area and look forward to being part of the community.”
