KULM, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Kulm man is dead following a rollover late Tuesday night west of Fredonia.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that 20 year-old Garrett Nelson was traveling eastbound on Highway 13 at around 11:30 PM when his vehicle crossed into the westbound lane. Nelson continued through the westbound lane, leaving the roadway where he overcorrected and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle rolled and Nelson was ejected.

He was transported to Wishek Hospital where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation. The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office, Kulm Ambulance, and Wishek Police Department.
