CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On this Veterans Day, CHI Health at Home Hospice is celebrating and honoring those who served.

Cindy Willey, Social Worker with CHI Health at Home’s Hospice Program, says they participate in a program called “We Honor Veterans.”

Willey added that the partnership provides the best possible care for Veterans in the best possible manner and setting while honoring the Veteran’s preferences.

The “We Honor Veterans” program recognizes unique needs of American Veterans and their families. Willey says community hospice providers, in partnership with VA staff, learn how to accompany and guide them through their life stories toward a more peaceful ending.

Willey says these ceremonies are very touching and a privilege for herself and staff.
