CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – COVID-19 vaccinations are continuing in Foster County from area providers.

Foster County Health Administrator Lisa Hilbert says they’re nearing 1,000 total vaccines distributed as of Thursday, February 18th.

Hilbert says that data is provided by the Department of Health vaccine locator website. She says the community continues to receive vaccines on a three week rotation and that’s for first doses of vaccine. All providers are still receiving the second doses.

Right now, previous priority groups eligible for the vaccine are still able to get the vaccination. Foster County continues to follow their tier guidance, providing the vaccination for those 65 years or older with two underlying health conditions.

Those interested in being on the contact list for the vaccination are encouraged to reach out to the four local providers. They are:

Carrington Drug – 701-652-2521
Foster County Public Health – 701-652-3087
Central Pharmacy – 701-652-2651
CHI St. Alexius Carrington – 701-652-2515

You’re asked to only contact one provider to be on their list to make the vaccination available to others at the separate sites.
