JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center is already hard at work planning the summer-long Downtown Arts Market.

The Downtown Arts Market has provided goers with an arts filled experience that includes food, games, live music, artisan vendors, and more. Executive Director Mindi Schmitz says summer may be a ways off, but planning is already underway.

Schmitz says they have a lot of things to organize for the market and welcome any support or suggestions.

The Downtown Arts Market is held at the Hansen Arts Park every Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 PM over the summer.

Schmitz also talked about the support they received in February that allows them to continue their strong After School Arts program, sponsor their artist in residence, and bring in new, free exhibits for the general public.
