VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Election workers’ jobs have grown increasingly difficult and stressful in recent years.  To honor local hard-working election staff on National Election Heroes Day Nov. 3, members of the League of Women Voters presented home-baked goodies and fresh fruit to the Barnes County Auditor’s Office staff members.

The League members said they want to thank the election staff for making our elections free, accessible to all, and secure.  They added, “Without your integrity and dedication, our precious representative democracy cannot function.”
