
NAMPA, ID – Rylan McPherson and Baraka Dayi each scored twice Wednesday as Northwest Nazarene defeated Jamestown Jimmies Men’s Soccer 6-3 in UJ’s final match of 2025.
In the 18th minute, McPherson and Dayi scored only 31 seconds apart for a 2-0 lead for NNU (7-6-4).
Derek Johnson increased the Nighthawks’ lead to 3-0 with a goal in the 27th minute.
Kael Calder put Jamestown (3-9-0) on the board in the 36th minute with his third goal, assisted by Tom Nicholls.
Alejandro Morales tallied in the 38th minute for NNU, then McPherson scored his second in the 42nd minute and Northwest Nazarene led 5-1 at halftime.
Jake Simson booted in his 11th goal for the Jimmies in the 48th minute.
Dayi answered with his second of the game for NNU in the 73rd minute.
Simon set up the Jimmies’ final goal from Greg Semsarian, his second of the season, in the 88th minute.
Northwestern Nazarene outshot Jamestown 22-12 and 12-7 on goal. Jimmies’ goalkeeper Valon Ismaili made seven saves.
