Fargo, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—The Carrington girls wrestling team had 4 girls remaining on Friday with 2 coming away with a medal. Khendra Garcia finished up her senior year with a pair of wins and finished in 3rd place at 148 pounds. Garcia (35-3) defeated 6 seed Jaycee Entzel of Bismarck Legacy by fall in 37 seconds in the consolation semifinal. Garcia picked up a major decision over 3 seed Clancy Meyer of Minot with a 15-3 win. Madalina Ciubotareanu (142) went 1-2 on the day with a win over 8 seed Sofia Meyer of Bismarck Legacy. Ciubotareanu (34-15–junior) would fall in the 7th place match by to Madison Irwin of New Salem-Almont. Grace Inglish (100) and Alayna Gussiaas (106) both lost in the blood round and did not place. Inglish (8th  grade) finished the year with a 25-21 record. Gussiaas (8th grade) finished her season 19-28).
