VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Municipal Judge Tom Goven has been on the bench for 28 years. Goven will be stepping down from that position at the end of the month.

City Attorney and Human Resources Director Carl Martineck said the application process is open to any qualified candidate to become the next Valley City Municipal Judge.

Judge Tom Goven submitted his resignation to the city earlier this year. Again anyone qualified should submit their application to Carl Martineck.
