CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Ross Powell was the only person to receive the necessary 142 signatures to get on the May 23rd special election ballot in Valley City.

Powell is seeking the position to fill out the remaining term of former commissioner Rick Ross who resigned earlier this year.

Powell works as a personal banker for the Wells Fargo branch in Valley City and currently serves as a member of the Valley City Park Board.

The special citywide election for Valley City residents will be held inside the city hall commission chambers on Tuesday, May 23rd.
