VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Area Chamber’s annual Holiday Parade of Lights will be held on Thursday in downtown Valley City.

Chamber Executive Director Kay Vinje said the Holiday Season Kickoff will feature several chamber businesses offering specials and goodies.

She said before the parade, the Lunchbox Café, Vicky’s Viking Room and Dutton’s Parlour will sell food to go on Central Avenue.

The Holiday Pop Up Shop will be set up in the old Sanford Eye Clinic on Central Avenue Thursday from 4pm to 8pm, enjoy what these local arts and craft vendors have to offer. Downtown businesses will be open late for shopping and enjoy complementary treats and family fun activities.

The Valley City High School Choir and Band Ensembles will provide Christmas Caroling.
Line up early, the parade starts at 6pm on Thursday down Central Avenue. There is still time to enter into the parade, call the chamber at 701-845-1891.
