Dylan is a 26 year-old Valley City Native. He was born with a condition called Corrected Transposition of the Great Arteries.
That means that the lower half of his heart is mirrored/reversed from normal anatomy. Over time, this leads to heart failure and will eventually require a heart transplant. He also suffers from another cardiac condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White.
Due to this, Dylan is set to receive a combination pace-maker and defibrillator this summer. He has been making multiple trips back and forth from the Mayo Clinic for appointments with many more to come.
A bake sale, spaghetti dinner, and silent auction will be held at the Valley City Eagles Club on Monday, April 8th from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM to help aid in expenses.
