City, N.D. – The city netted more than 2,000 from the North Star Classic consignment auction on Saturday.

Administrative Assistant Becky Anderson says the top item a road grader went for $36,000 and a motor home sold for $16,000.

Anderson told the board of commissioners that the sale grossed $112,600 with $5,690 of that going to the auctioneer for his fee with the city in a net value of $106,900.
