(NewsDakota.com) – Barnes County North and Edgeley-Kulm split their boys and girls District 5 basketball games Tuesday night in Edgeley.

Edgeley-Kulm picked up a 56-40 victory in the boys game behind 16 points from Beau Diegel and 15 from Nathan Elhard.

Jacoby Kramlich led BCN with 13 points and Cody Christ added 12 in the loss.

In the girls game, Barnes County North held Edgeley-Kulm scoreless in the third period en route to a 53-24 victory. Calby Hanson scored 17 points for BCN and SaraLi Petersen added 14 in the victory.

Sonni Lagodinski led Edgeley-Kulm with six points. The Bison led 28-16 at halftime and then put the game away with a 11-0 run in the third quarter.
